Stand Up Desk
How much weight can my desk lift?
Our stand up desk can lift up to 125 kg - that’s like 4 British Bulldogs. And before you ask, no our desk has not been found guilty of doping (not that we know of at least).
How do I assemble my desk?
Like all of our products, your Recess Stand Up desk comes with non-generic, easy to understand assembly instructions - just scan the QR code leaflet inside your box and away you go. If you have a drill handy, it shouldn’t take you any longer than 30 mins. Nevertheless, assembly is just as easy without one - but maybe just a bit more cruisy.

How long does it take to get from a sitting to standing position?
Our desk moves up and down at 40mm/s - given the height range of this bad boy is 65-130 cm, we’ll leave you to do the maths (HINT: it’s about 10 seconds for an average height person).
What happens if my desk stops working?
In most cases, this will simply just be your keypad playing bunny fuggers on you. Your Desk’s assembly instructions come with an operational manual, where you’ll find some troubleshooting tips. If you’re still having issues, reach out to us and we’ll see if we can find some other workarounds for you.
Does my desk have anti collision technology embedded?
It certainly does - sit and stand carefree.
Single Desk
How much weight can my desk hold?
Your Single Desk is weighted to hold up to 300 kg - so when your favourite song starts playing on a Friday afternoon, feel free to jump on the desk and have a little boogey. Not too much though, we don’t want you scaring the neighbours.
