How it comes?
The Ergo Pro 2.0 comes delivered in a neat 20kg recycled cardboard carton.
The Standing Desk comes delivered in two separate recycled cardboard cartons: (1) Frame (33kg); (2) Table Top (16kg small and 23kg large).

First-up, kudos to the Recess team who had my order shipped to my Sydney address with a couple of days. Assembly was straight forward. I'm now happily seated in my ErgoPro 2 only 3 days after ordering.
I have the Storm Cloud colour and am really happy with the look. This is a stylish chair. So many ergonomic office chairs look like they're designed for the dentists--large, ugly, monoliths that take-up the entire home office. The striped mesh back of the Ergo Pro 2.0 is refreshingly modern. The angles are stylish and this, thankfully is a modest sized chair. We have a scandi- styled home and the Ergo Pro is looking quite at home in front of my long, simple timber work desk.
Of course, looking good was only part of my purchase decision, the chair also needed to be comfortable. I watched the Recess video on adjustments (YouTube) and have now got it set-up just right for me. I'm on the shorter side and appreciate the forward/backward adjustability of the seat pad to reduce the length of the seat under my thighs. My tall husband, on the other hand, can easily push the seat pad forward to provide his long legs with greater support. The seat itself is soft and very comfortable. The arms are push-button adjustable up and down and sit neatly under desk height. The lower lumbar support is where the chair is really singing for me. I'm currently managing some sport-induced lower back pain (the biggest motivator to get a new office chair) and the lumbar support is sitting beautifully in…

How does shipping work and who handles delivery?
We’ve partnered with Allied Express to take care of all our deliveries, so your order is in safe hands. Shipping rates can vary depending on the product and your delivery address, and you can view full details in our shipping policy page.

Can I create a custom bundle with different products?

Assembly
Is assembly required? How long does it take?
Yes most of our furniture is delivered flat-packed for safe and efficient shipping and thus assembly is required. But don’t worry, our assembly instructions have been designed to make the assembly process simple and hassle-free. Depending on the product, it usually takes 15 to 45 minutes to set up (even quicker with a power drill!).
Can you provide a copy of the assembly instructions?
Absolutely. Our products include a QR code inside the box that links to an assembly instructions page. Simply just select the product you ordered and away you go. But if you prefer, we’re more than happy to send you a digital copy, just let us know.
Can I request professional assembly or white-glove delivery?
Is the Pope Catholic? Of course we do. If you’re in an eligible area, you’ll see the option to add our “Sit Back & Relax” service at checkout. This includes both delivery and professional assembly, so all you need to do is open the door, and we’ll handle the rest, including rubbish recycling and disposal.

Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy, and what should I know before returning a chair?
We offer a 30-day return policy for change of mind purchases so you can shop with confidence. You can learn more about the details here.
We understand that repacking a chair exactly as it arrived can be a bit tricky, so we recommend taking extra care when unpacking, just in case a return is needed.
In some cases, chairs may need to be returned in separate cartons, as certain parts (like the gas lift) can be difficult to disassemble from the base. If this happens, just let our team know. We’re here to help and guide you through the process.
