Your private workspace comes powered up with USB-A&C plugs, AU power points and warm-neutral lighting to keep you alert. We just plug straight into a power outlet of your choosing, and away we go.
Assembled with ease
Our two man install team will bring your new private workspace to life in under an hour. We deliver and install to all major cities across Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth. Designed with ease of assembly front of mind, our booths can be packed down and taken with.
Australian Certifications and Compliance covered
Our booths have been built with the highest quality materials in an ISO 9001 certified factory. Our pod is RCM compliant, meaning it has been tested to the necessary Australian and New Zealand laws for electrical safety. As well, all wall, floor and ceiling linings have been certified to the relevant Australian fire standards, including AS 5637.1, AS 1530.3 and ISO 9239.1. TLDR - our booths are fire safe!

Delivery and assembly
How long does assembly and installation take?
The Nook can usually be assembled in under an hour, while The Cove takes around 2–3 hours. Timing can vary a little depending on things like site access, parking or loading zones, and whether lifts or stairs are involved.
Power requirements
Do I need an electrician to set up The Nook or The Cove?
Not at all. Both The Nook and The Cove come fully pre-wired with power, lighting, and ventilation already built in. Our installation team simply plugs the unit into a standard power point quick and easy.
Payment
What are the payment options and terms for purchasing The Nook or The Cove?
You can easily purchase online, where GST and delivery/installation costs are calculated automatically based on your postcode.
For offline purchases, we require a 50% deposit to secure your order, with the remaining 50% due 7 days after delivery.
We also understand that flexibility can be important, especially for smaller teams, so we’re happy to offer tailored payment options where needed. Just reach out to us at sales@recess.com.au, and we’ll talk you through what’s possible

Sustainability
Are Recess booths environmentally friendly?
Yes, sustainability is a big part of what we do at Recess. Our booths are made using FSC-certified timbers and recycled PET materials, and they’re packaged in recycled cardboard.
In fact, choosing a Recess booth helps save over 1,200 plastic bottles from going to waste something we’re really proud of. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to explore our sustainability page here
Moving your booth
Can you assist with moving our booth if we relocate offices?
Of course! If you’re moving offices, we can provide clear instructions for your movers to make the process smooth and stress-free.

Outdoor Use
Can the booths be used outdoors?
Our booths are designed for indoor use only. The panels are made from MDF, which can expand or contract when exposed to changes in moisture and humidity, so outdoor use isn’t recommended.
