Shipping policy

All our products are shipped from our Sydney warehouse. We use live rates, which means you will be charged based on your postal code and what products you have in your cart. Our 'blended rates' ensure you are getting the best rate based on the number of items added.

Below are our standard delivery timeframes during non-peak times and are true unless otherwise stated on the individual product pages. Times are based on from the day of your order. Standard shipping days below:

• Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane Metro: 2-3 business days
• Adelaide: 3-5 business days
• Regional: 5-7 business days
• Other States & Territories: 7-10 business days

Keep an eye out on your orders tracking using your tracking number and postcode here. If you haven't received your tracking number (usually because tech is not our friend), please text us using the text box in the bottom right of your screen or simply flick us an email to our friendly team on hello@recess.com.au.

Unfortunately for the rural folk, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.

'Sit Back and Relax' Service

Customers in certain areas are offered our premium 'Sit Back and Relax' delivery and assembly service. Our products are made with the highest quality materials and with this comes extra weight on all the packages. Selecting this premium service means you can sit back and relax whilst our logistics team coordinates an installer to deliver and install your products on a day and time of your choosing. Please note, customers who choose this service can expect a 5-7 business day turnaround from the date of order. One of our team members will be in contact shortly after your order is placed to discuss your preferred delivery and install days.

Sale Periods

During peak sale periods, our courier partner is often overwhelmed with the increased volume of online orders across Australia. These include EOFY, Black Friday & Christmas - there may be a slight delay on your order. Keep an eye out on your orders tracking using your tracking number and postcode here.

Courier Partner

We've partnered with Allied Express to handle all of our deliveries. For orders to apartment buildings, Allied Express will deliver your item(s) to the main foyer only, not your apartment door. By default, your order will have authority to leave (ATL) so don’t forget to track your order here. Just enter your tracking number & delivery postcode. Please reach out to our team via hello@recess.com.au should you wish to not have ATL on your order.

Due to the premium quality of our products, the weight for some items are not light and come in more than one carton eg Standing Desk. As such, carrying these items from the foyer to your apartment door is not easy for the strongest of us, so having a friend to assist is always a good idea. Trust us though, the extra weight only means these bad boys are sure to last the test of time!

Soundproof Booths & Office Desks

We have designed our soundproof booths and Team office desks to be easily assembled (and disassembled) by anyone with a basic 'know-how' and tools. However, we only offer a delivery and assembly service at checkout. Our rates are automatically calculated based on your location and quantity of booths in your cart. Please note - GST is added in as part of the shipping cost on your order.
