Soundproofing
The Cove meeting booth reduces sound by up to 30dB (NIC ASTM E336). Think of it as the perfect one-on-one meeting space, free from any prying ears.
Ventilation
2 x 12V fans recycle air in and out of the booth every 2-3 minutes. For the nerds, that's like 85−174m³/hr of fresh air in and out of the your meeting pod. The fans are powered by a motion sensor and users can control the airflow with a fan speed controller.
Lighting and Power
Two LED down lights at a 4000K colour temp spread light evenly throughout, to keep you productive whilst you work. Both the fans and lightw are operated by a motion sensor for efficiency.
Two USB A/C and Australian mains sockets come as standard to keep you connected.
A 5m long power cable makes it easy for you to position the booth anywhere near a standard 240V Wall Plug.
Furnishing Options
The Cove comes with two furnishing options, one for meetings and the other for a private office setup.
The meeting setup comes with two sofas and a table, whilst the private office comes with a standing desk and an Ergonomic Chair. Both options are included in the price. Please speak to our sales team about which option you'd like to go with.
Also included is a whiteboard, which can have screens mounted to it for video conferencing requirements.
Delivery and Assembly
- Our 2 man team handles assembly within just 2-3 hours, with little disturbance at your workplace.
- The Cove booth can be just as easily disassembled for moving around the office or to be taken with you when you grow.
- We deliver and install to all major cities across Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth.

Australian certifications and compliance covered
The Cove booth has been built with the highest quality materials in an ISO 9001 certified factory. Our pod is RCM compliant, meaning it has been tested to the necessary Australian and New Zealand laws for electrical safety. As well, all wall, floor and ceiling linings have been certified to the relevant Australian fire standards, including AS 5637.1, AS 1530.3 and ISO 9239.1.

Delivery and Assembly
How long does it take to assemble the Cove, and how much does delivery cost?
The Cove can typically be assembled in around 2–3 hours. Assembly time may vary depending on factors like ease of access, parking/loading zones, and whether lifts or stairs are involved.

Power requirements
What are the power requirements for the Cove?
It’s super simple. The Cove comes pre-wired with all the power, lighting, and ventilation already set up.
Our install team will just need access to a standard power point to plug in the supplied cable and you’re good to go.
Payment
What are your payment terms?
We offer flexible payment options to suit your needs 😊
If you purchase online, GST and delivery/installation costs will be automatically calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
For offline purchases, we require a 50% deposit to secure your order, with the remaining 50% due 7 days after delivery.

Outdoor purposes
Can the Cove be used outdoors?
The Cove is designed for indoor use only. This is because the panelling is made from MDF, which can expand and contract with changes in moisture levels in the air.
For the best performance and longevity, we recommend placing it in a stable indoor environment.
Sustainability
Are your products environmentally friendly?
At Recess, we’re passionate about making sustainable workspaces the new normal. Our booth range is crafted using FSC-certified timbers and recycled PET, and all products are shipped in recycled cardboard packaging.
